GoHighLevel for Contractors: Missed-Call Text-Back, Reviews, and Follow-Up in One System
Quick answer: GoHighLevel is the software platform. Omnibus Victis AI is the team that builds and runs it for you. For contractors, that means missed-call text-back, fast lead response, and follow-up starting at $997/mo (Foundation), review requests and retention automation added at $2,497/mo (Growth), and a fully managed pipeline with monthly strategy calls at $4,997/mo (Partner). It replaces the gap between your phone ringing and a job getting booked. It does not replace your estimating software or your field crew.
What GoHighLevel Actually Is
Most contractors run their business out of four or five disconnected tools: a phone that rings, a CRM nobody updates, a text thread with three different area codes, maybe a spreadsheet for follow-up, and a review request that only happens if someone remembers to send it. Leads fall through the cracks between those tools, not because anyone is lazy, but because a busy contractor answering a call at 4pm from a roof is not going to also open a laptop and send a proper follow-up email.
GoHighLevel (GHL) is a single platform that holds all of that in one place: phone, text, email, calendar, pipeline, and review requests, all talking to each other automatically. It's the infrastructure. On its own, it's just software you'd have to configure, test, and maintain.
Omnibus Victis AI builds the automation logic on top of it and keeps it running. You don't touch workflows or triggers. You get texts and emails going out on your behalf, a pipeline that updates itself, and a monthly report that tells you what happened. Think of GHL as the engine and us as the mechanic who built it for your specific business and keeps it tuned.
The Three Tiers
Here's exactly what's in each tier. No hidden scope, no "starting at" pricing that changes once you're on a call.
For most single-crew contractors, Foundation is the right starting point. It's built to solve the single most expensive problem in the trades: a missed call that never gets a callback. One recovered job per month pays for 12 months of service. Growth makes sense once you're booking consistently and reputation and repeat business start mattering more than raw lead volume. Partner is for owners who want the whole pipeline handled and don't want to think about any of it.
What's Not Included, In Any Tier
I'd rather lose the sale on this page than have you find out three weeks in that something you assumed was included wasn't. None of the tiers include:
Estimating or quoting automation. No tier prices a job, sends a quote, or calculates materials. That decision requires someone who's seen the site and knows your margins.
AccuLynx or field-service-software replacement. GHL doesn't manage job costing, crew scheduling on the ground, or material tracking. It handles the conversation with the customer, not the job itself.
A website. This is a marketing and follow-up system, not a web design service.
Social media posting or content creation. We're not writing your Instagram captions.
Cold outreach on your behalf. Everything we send goes to people who already contacted you, already had a job with you, or already opted in. We don't cold-call or cold-text lists.
Foundation specifically also excludes an open-ended web-chat or FAQ widget. If you want a chat window on your site that fields open-ended questions, that's a different conversation, and it's the kind of thing that needs guardrails so it doesn't make promises you can't keep.
How This Is Different From Jobber or ServiceTitan
If you already run Jobber, ServiceTitan, or AccuLynx, good. Keep it. Those tools are built for the operational side of the job: scheduling crews, tracking materials, invoicing, job costing. They're good at that and we're not trying to replace them.
What they're generally not built for is the marketing and communication layer before and after the job. A missed call at 6pm on a Friday doesn't get a text back from your field-service software. A five-star customer doesn't automatically get asked for a review. A lead who went quiet three weeks ago doesn't get a check-in. That's the gap GHL fills, and it's the gap that costs contractors the most money, because it happens before a job ever hits your operational software in the first place.
Think of it as two systems that hand off to each other. GHL captures the lead, responds instantly, books the appointment, and follows up after the job. Your field-service software runs the actual work once it's booked. We don't touch your crew schedule or your job costs. We make sure the lead gets to that stage in the first place, and that the customer doesn't disappear or forget to leave a review once the work is done.
The AI Intake Agent Add-On
For Partner clients specifically, there's a separately-priced add-on: the AI Intake Agent, at +$697/mo. This is built for businesses with high call volume or a lot of repeat questions that eat up staff time (hours, service area, "do you do X kind of job" type questions). It's a gated add-on, never included by default, and it's not for every business. One thing it will never do is quote a job price. If a caller asks what something costs, it books a meeting or a call instead of guessing, because pricing a job takes a person who understands the actual site conditions. If your team is spending a lot of hours a week just answering the phone for questions that don't need a human judgment call, it's worth a conversation. If not, skip it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a website before I can start with Foundation? No. Foundation runs on your existing phone number and lead sources. A website is a separate project if you want one, but it's not required to turn on missed-call text-back or speed-to-lead.
Can I start at Foundation and move up later? Yes, and that's how most clients do it. Start with Foundation to prove out the lead recovery piece, then add Growth once you want reputation and retention handled too. Nothing in the setup locks you into a tier.
Will this replace my office manager or dispatcher? No. It handles the automated first response and follow-up so nothing falls through the cracks, but it doesn't replace a person who talks to customers, schedules crews, or makes judgment calls. Partner tier's 8 build hours a month are often spent building around what your team already does, not instead of them.
What happens if a customer replies to one of the automated texts? It routes to you (or your team, depending on setup) like any other text message. The system starts the conversation and gets the response moving fast. A real person takes it from there.
